Held annually in November, to coincide with the Annual General Meeting, our annual conference is open to members and non-members and provides a full day programme of speakers on wide ranging topics relevant to the financial management of charities.
Alternating between Glasgow and Edinburgh, seminars lasting around two hours take place throughout the year, and are an opportunity to get an in depth update on current legislation and good practice. Topics are wide ranging and have included SORP, IT, VAT, pensions, data protection (GDPR) and employment issues.
Hosted by our member organisations, these informal meetings offer an opportunity for relaxed discussion and networking over a light lunch. Numbers are usually limited to around 12 to allow everyone to engage in discussion.
